Their planes are good and new. staff are always welcoming and fares are way better than any other airlines. Given the choice, I would opt for a different airline on my usual route. Wizz Air falls short of expectations, earning a negative rating of minus 5 stars from me. I strongly advise against choosing them to avoid inevitable disappointment.
As for this Review of Wizz air, this is my experience from flying with them several times the last 4 years. I know that others have had bad experiences, but I'm not one of them because I always make sure to follow the regulations while flying with low-cost airlines. This is what I think: Wizz Air is fine to fly with so long as you have your expectations in check. Are there lots of hidden fees? Totally. Will it be the comfiest flight in the world? Probably not… But WILL it be absurdly affordable compared to regular airlines? Yes, yes, yes.
Wizz Air Review - Conclusion. Wizz Air is a fairly good carrier, but like most budget airlines, it has some downsides. Yes, we know about a lot of complaints and negative experiences, but given the volume of Wizz Air business it is expected from a low cost airline.
The good news is that Wizz Air flies an exclusive A320-family fleet, which means marginally wider seats and aisles than on the Boeing 737s operated by Ryanair. Although the difference is small I find it makes a BIG difference to the overall experience and always prefer the A320 to the 737.
